Over the years I have become a Lush fanatic. I have loved their solid shampoos, solid cleansers and bath bombs. But the last Lush cleanser I bought , Herbalism, was not the best. It had a pungent smell and it was quite sticky. HenceI was skeptical in purchasing another cleanser, but I had heard rave reviews about Coalface. So what the heck I got no money so why not spend even more!

Coalface is a solid cleanser but lathers like extremely well. This product is a deep cleanser which gets into the pores and cleans them right out! This cleanser also works as a mild exfoliator which helps remove excess skin and sebum in the skin.

Lush cleanser are purchased in chunks, so in order to keep the cleanser fresh and manageable, I cut them into separate pieces. To use the cleanser I simply wet the whole cleanser and gently rub it on my face. After washing off the cleanser, my skin feels clean and refreshed without feeling dried. After using this product for a few months, my face has become clearer. Old blemishes have started to fade and new ones rarely form. Aside from that my oil also seems to be a lot more controlled and doesn't produce buckets anymore.

This cleanser has now become one of new favorite cleansers.

It certainly has been a long time since anyone has posted anything. Everything is just extremely hectic and busy in all of our lives at the moment. I'm currently working and have been burning the midnight oil at work quite frequently and I'm in the process of moving to a nice apartment; while the others are busy with school and graduation. So hopefully, but no promises , I'll post a review every few days... I have tons of new product....

Cleansing oil has always been fascination of mine, and if you have never heard of cleansing oil , heres the rundown. Basically the oil delves within the pores to breakup debris and other impurities and then washing with warm water draws out the oil. A lot of people maybe skeptical about using oil on their face, but in fact it will not cause pimples, at least not if you wash it off properly. Another additional benefit of oil is its hydration properties , it moistures your skin as you cleanse it. Heres a site that I have used before that gives in-depth information on cleansing oils.

Shu Umeura has always been renown for its superb and innovative cleansing oils. They have an array of oil selections, from whitening to anti-aging. So of course I was so stoked to give it a try. I opted for the smaller bottle first, which was in comparison a lot more expensive than its larger size. The oil itself is quite thick and has a subtle scent of Sakura. With four pumps of oil you massage it into your skin to draw out the impurities. You really can feel the impurities and debris being drawn out, you feel little granules of white and black stuff come out. Its really quite fun and addicting, but make sure you dont massage to long! After 3 or 4 min wash out the oil with warm water and your skin should feel clean but moisturized.

My problem with this oil is that it seems to be the same as any other cleansing oil. And if you dont wash it off properly you definitely will get more clogged pores which lead to more pimples. So its like a double edged sword , if you use it properly its great, if you skip a little of the washing then its a huge folly! So in conjunction with this oil I also follow up with another cleanser to completely remove any trace of the oil. And it seems to work that much better for me when I add this additional cleansing.

If you havent tried cleansing oil, you should definitely give it a try.

I apologize for not publishing as much as I should, but i recently have been swamped with work. But the good news is that I passed my probationary period! Hopefully I can update much more!

As I was shopping at SOGO, a department store I came across a promotion for Vitacreme B12 and decided to give it a go. I have heard tons of great things about Vitacreme B12 from various sources, but never actually was confident in trying it. But since it was on sale I decided to give it a whirl.
First off the product is made in Switzerland so Im assuming its of an excellent quality, just like my favorite chocolate , Toblerone.

Well first off the creme comes in a boring box and a even blander tube. But hey I guess Vitacreme doesn't need fancy and eye-catching presentation or gimmicks to sell, it sells solely on its effectiveness. I was quite skeptical when I was reading about Vitacreme, a creme that does all that? impossible! So needless to say, I couldn't wait to try it out.

So basically I apply the creme after toning, it comes out a pinkish color and a pea sized dab is all you need.  I use the creme and massage it into my massage using the Shiseido massage technique , which basically helps counteract gravity which pulls your skin downward, making your skin seem older. I use Vitacreme in conjunction with my Tony Moly Red Appletox which produces a healthy and glowy skin, that is not oily or greasy.

I have been using Vitacreme for about two weeks now, and boy do I love it. I want to stand on the rooftops and shout "I LOVE YOU VITACREME!" Hahah dramatics aside, this creme really does wonder. Now winter has set in and Taiwan has become unbearably frigid, my skin has gone from oily to dry. But this creme has rehydrated and re-lifted my skin. I can see a difference in my skin texture and especially my laugh lines are diminishing. Ever since I have been using this I have not had a breakout or blemishes, although I dont think this helps with breakouts, but at least it didn't cause me to breakout. I recently had a few co-workers tell me I look even younger than before, and that my skin looks healthy.
